AUDITIONS
Greetings, G&S Lovers!
We are still accepting Iolanthe Chorus Members!
We are just at the beginning of our rehearsal schedule and so you still can audition for our Iolanthe chorus! Rehearsals are held in Trinity Buckingham Church's Faith Hall. Trinity Episcopal Church is located at 2631 Durham Rd, Buckingham, PA 18912 (near the corner of Rte. 413 and Rte. 202) and the doors to Faith Hall face the parking lot.
For all new singers who wish to audition for our chorus, please email Lee
( leefmilhous@verizon.net ) and Rachel ( rachelr357@gmail.com ) ASAP to schedule an audition appointment. You may choose any song you are comfortable singing.
If you have sung with us before and plan to join our chorus, please let Lee and Rachel know ASAP, we'd be thrilled to have you back!
The chorus will rehearse Sunday and Wednesday evenings (except Easter and Memorial Day) from 7-9:30 PM. Rehearsals will be more frequent during the two weeks before performances. Iolanthe performances will be Friday June 21 at 8 pm, Saturday June 22 at 2 pm and 8 pm, and Sunday June 23 at 2 pm.
Do you have your Iolanthe score ready? If you have not yet purchased one you can find a Schirmer score online such as this one - just be sure it includes the complete music and vocal score.
